I wanted to show you a little OOTD. It’s nice and sunny in Chicago, so I was finally able to take of a winter coat, what a blessing!
Marni for H&M collection was launched on March 8th [in case you were stuck in a woods for the last couple of months, with no Internet:)] and I was not really planning on getting anything, but found myself browsing in near the store area around 3pm. I was not hoping to really get anything, maybe just see the decorations, but to my surprise, Michigan store had a lot of stuff left: jackets, dress, swim suit, tops, t shirts, shorts, pants, even shoes and some accessories. Amazing. I ended up with 2 cotton t shirts – only items that fit my style, I looved print and quality!
Here is one of them. Grabbed it form the men’s section, the last XS!
Other basics include:
Ann Taylor 1 button blazer
Levi’s skinny jeans
Spring is back, so am I. Never ever do what I did and leave your blog, no matter how many projects you run or how busy your life is, there should always be time for your passion.
I am starting my back to blogging rate with [another] beauty sample box - Sample Society from BeautyBar and Allure. You would think that I will give up on these boxes after major Birchbox dissapointment. But when heard that one of my favorite skincare stores and my favorite magazine are launching one – couldn’t resist. [There was another reason - gift certificate which equals price of the box $15].
So without further adieu, let’s get started with the March 2012 box:
I wanted to share with you my Face of the day and thoughts about two of the Spring 2012 makeup products that caught my eye: Chanel eyeshadow quad in Eclosion and Guerlain Cruel Gardenia highlighter, both of which I used in today’s makeup.
Obviously it’s a day time look, and I love how Cruel Gardenia catches the light. Other products used:
Base: Hourglass Mineral VeilJ
Foundation: Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B20
Powder: Chanel Poudre Douce in 20 Peche Tendre
I came across this amazing Romantic Lace photoshoot for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar China. Thank God to internet and iPad era we now have access to any magazine from all over the world. The shot is amazingly fresh and feminine, perfect for the time when we al are enjoying Spring collections. Also reminds me a lot of Dior Boudoir Look Collection for Spring 2010 and amazing Coquette palette which I still regret not purchasing.
